Bar Coding & Multiple Inventory Number Search

We have added the ability to search on multiple inventory numbers.  To utilize this feature, please use the inventory number box located in the "Advanced Search" section.  Enter one inventory number per line, or use a bar code scanner for rapid entry.  Utilizing a bar code scanner enables the user to to return a large set of objects and batch update information, create groups, and complete an inventory. 

In testing and development of this feature, we used the Motorola Symbol CS3070 Series scanner.   It is bluetooth enabled and works well with the iPad and iPhone.  The tiny device is affordably priced and fits in a pocket or on a lanyard.  Please note that any 1D scanner can work for this application.
